What My Yoga Students Are Saying
“"I have really enjoyed the yoga sessions so far. It helps to stretch out my muscles which is especially important while being less active due to working from home. It provides an hour of active mindfulness and relaxation during the day, and I have really noticed an improvement in my flexibility since I have been taking part in the sessions. Diane's teaching style is great because she takes her time, describes things well and has a very calming voice and presence.”
— Jasmine, 2021
“I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed it and how I am looking forward to the rest of the course. I also really liked the sprinkles of knowledge you informed us about sitting, breathing, walking and doing it properly. I really cannot wait to learn more about this along with everything else.”
— Harry, 2021
“"I wish I started Yoga sooner! This practice has not only increased my core strength, but helped with lower back pains from a previous injury and increased flexibility. It also helps clear my mind removing the day’s stress and refocus my priorities in life."
— Yusuf, 2021
"Diane's calm approach to yoga offers peace of mind and a friendly community, not to mention excellent taste in appropriate music in the background that brings an emotional connection to the poses. I always leave relaxed, restored, and looking forward to the next class."
-Lynne, 2023
Mental and physical health
are absolutely inseparable.
How you feel, emotionally can manifest in the body.
Happiness, pleasure, joy, peace, and love, all have positively associated neurotransmitters and hormones that they trigger to be released.
Sadness and depression weaken the immune system. Leading to pains, chronic illness, and even dis-ease. Anger is associated with high blood pressure, strokes, heart attacks, aneurysms, ulcers, and inflammation.
When you learn to effectively manage stress, release past emotional traumas, and prioritize joy in your life, your body will feel better too.
This is wellness.
