Our Heart

Diane

Owner and Founder.

Woman and Mother.

Yogi and Doula.

I took my first yoga class in college while academically I studied biology, psychology, anatomy, physiology, and even nutrition. I was fascinated by the human body and mind. I practiced yoga casually for years, but when I became a mother I found myself needing to come to my mat more.

In 2020 I enrolled in my first yoga training with the Kula Collective International Yoga School. They gave me a much broader understanding of what Yoga truly is. More than just the “asanas” or poses that I was familiar with, I studied Yoga as a holistic approach to life. I have continued my training in: Yoga Specifically for Women’s health, Pelvic Floor work, Trauma-Informed teaching practices, and Prenatal Yoga. Most recently (in 2023), I have deepened my practice to support women through sacred birth-work as a certified Doula, and it has been so profound.

Working with women in this way, and witnessing the innate wisdom and strength that we all have within us, has changed my life. Through the practice of Yoga, working with the body, mind, and spirit together, I want to help women to find peace and power within themselves. While simultaneously creating more spaces for community.
