Possibly my favorite form of movement.
What is it though?
Dance
Allowing your body to move freely to the music is such a pure form of release. Breaking up stagnation in the body, and also breaking through mental barriers of self-consciousness is so healing.
Play
Engage with your inner child. Let loose, and have fun in a judgement free space. Healing doesn’t have to mean “work”. These events are designed to spark joy.
Socialize
Find new friends or engage with old ones in a new and exciting way. Human connection is so powerful. Here we encourage interaction that is always respectful and consensual.
Sober
This can be a new and intimidating experience to connect to your body without outside influence. But knowing that everyone here is sober can provide peace of mind and a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all who attend.
Inclusion
Respect is the only expectation here. We welcome people of all ages, shapes, colors, sizes, and backgrounds. After all, dance is an integral part of every culture on the planet, and a unifying force.
Presence
With the absence of intoxicants, and an emphasis on disconnecting from technology, there is such a strong sense presence. It is both refreshing and rewarding to feel truly present in the moment and in your body.

We’re back at Cache Studios to celebrate 2 years of Ecstatic Dance Events with this beautiful community. The private dance studio and hardwood floors provide such a perfect space to let yourself get loose and activate your body! We have Wisdomtraders coming to provide the musical soundscape for us this time. You won’t want to miss this!
Our first event was held on 11/11/21
There have been six events following that, and this will be our third event at Cache. It’s been so fun watching these events, and the dance community here, expand over time. Bringing joy and movement to all different kinds of bodies. We can’t wait to share our next anniversary event with you.
